What do you really see when you visit an art museum? Do you spend more time reading the labels than looking at the painting? Did you rush by a "masterpiece" to examine something that "caught your eye?" Join photographer James Osher for a gallery talk in Three Seconds with the
Masters as he presents his perspective on how gallery visitors view original artwork in a museum setting.
With a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters in Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, James began his career creating a large-scale urban environmental sculpture for Cleveland State University and The New Gallery. After a thirteen year hiatus from the art community to pursue a career in the investment industry, he recognized his inherent desire to communicate through artwork
and refocused his lifework on art making.
