JOHNSON HALL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER is a nonprofit organization presenting a wide range of programs in historic Johnson Hall Opera House in downtown Gardiner, Maine. The renovated first floor performance space seats 110 and is flexible for many purposes-from plays and concerts to classes, workshops, arts camps, and meetings. We produce events and programs, and also rent the hall to other groups for events and private parties. Johnson Hall collaborates on arts programs in the schools, at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gardiner, and at the Gardiner Public Library. Plans are moving forward to restore the entire building, including lobby and dressing rooms on the second floor, and a 400-seat theater on the third floor. Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center welcomes you to explore our web site, to learn more about our building and our programs.
