Hawthorne Players will present Paul Osborn's comedy "On Borrowed Time." The only things in life that are certain are death and taxes, but one of those is temporarily put on hold. Death arrives in the person of Mr. Brink, but Gramps isn’t ready to go, and through a bit of magic and imagination, he detains Mr. Brink in his backyard apple tree. Not only can Brink not take Gramps, he can’t take anyone. Death has been put on hold throughout the universe.
