The Alzheimer's Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter holds its annual Greater Lansing Memory Walk in September every year. The 2008 Greater Lansing Memory Walk raised $58,651 through the combined dedicated efforts of sponsors, teams, and walkers. Every dollar raised helps provide critical local services for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease - including care consultations, 24/7 Helpline, support groups, caregiver education programs, Safe Return, and advocacy.
