Western North Carolina Pottery Festival

This annual festival showcases 40 master potters from across the nation, with a large concentration of artists from the Southeast.

Potters demonstrate and display works from every type of clay medium. The event takes place in the walkabout village of Dillsboro, set against the fall splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains.

A highlight is the midday opening of the wood-fired kiln.
