This exhibit marks the first major exhibition showcasing the stories and artifacts of the Fall Line Region. The region is located where the state’s rivers are no longer navigable from the Lowcountry, and runs from Cheraw on the Pee Dee River to North Augusta on the Savannah. The unique culture of these rugged, independent people is explored through the artifacts they made, bought, sold and used.
