The Mystery Of Edwin Drood

This fall, Chaska High School will be performing the Tony-award-winning musical The Mystery Of Edwin DROOD!
This original and inventive musical is based on the last, unfinished novel of Charles Dickens. In this show-within-a-show, a group of Victorian-era actors at the Music Hall Royale in London endeavor to put on a musical version of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. However, since Dickens passed away while writing the novel, there is no finalized ending. At this point in the show, the company gives power to You, the audience, and you vote on the identity of a mysterious detective, Drood's murderer, and a pair of lovers. With all the possible combinations of people, there are over 600 possible endings to this fantastic show!
Featuring a wide variety of musical styles, melodrama, comedy, dancing, and a new ending every night, The Mystery Of Edwin Drood is sure to please every audience member and leave you coming back for more!
