Brentwood Firecracker 5K, parade and fireworks

8:30 a.m.: Color ceremony in Brentwood Stadium by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1810.
9 a.m.: 26th annual Firecracker 5K race begins in Brentwood Towne Square.
10 a.m. Parade, featuring Kathy Roslonski Rolling Car Cruise
2:15 p.m.: Aquatic programs at the pool for boys and girls 17 and younger.
4 p.m.: Track & field events for boys and girls 3-14 in the stadium.
8 p.m.: Music in the park followed by retiring of the colors ceremony at 9:15 p.m. in Brentwood Park.
9:30 p.m. Fireworks from Starfire Corp. in Brentwood stadium. If it rains, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Sunday at the same time.
