Historic Owen’s Theatre Branson’s First Theatre. Built in 1935 by former Branson Mayor Jim Owen, this historic building has served as a movie house, live playhouse, church, honky tonk, auction house and meeting hall. It has been visited by Stars like Gene Autry, Charlton Heston and others. For the last 13 seasons, it has been the home of Elvis and the Superstars and now 6 other great shows including Breakfast with Mark Twain, Hank and Patsy Together Again, Elvis Sings Country, The Ladies of Motown, Branson Blues Late Night and Branson’s Ultimate Elvis Contest!
