The First Annual Boulder Journey School Creative Recycling Day
Every day we throw away materials that possess special potential for reuse in creative ways. Inspired by last year’s Futures Festival, on Saturday, May 2nd, from 9-11am, you are cordially invited to visit Boulder Journey School, adjacent to the Holiday Neighborhood. Please come help promote sustainability by bringing used and unwanted materials to be reinvented by children. Spaces in the school will be open for play and exploration by children and adults. Examples of children’s creative work with recycled materials will be on display, as will documentation of children’s research on what they think is special about the Holiday Neighborhood. Refreshments will be provided by local businesses. Everyone is invited and welcome!
