An exhibition of acrylic paintings on paper and canvas by Joyce Shelton is on display in Gallery I of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) November 30 through January 2. The artist enjoys creating simple shapes into organized compositions in her pastels and paintings. As an artist she simplifies her contemporary subjects into charged compositions, reminiscent of Chagall and Monet.
