NCAR Gallery Features Woven Art by Betsy Blumenthal

An exhibition of woven wall art by Betsy Blumenthal is on display in Gallery II of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) September 28 through November 28. The artist uses a myriad of hand-dyed or hand-painted colors in double layer structures to create imaginary abstract landscapes which allude to the beauty of the natural environment. The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, October 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the NCAR gallery.
