Award winning writer Jhumpa Lahiri will be reading from her work in the Campus Center, 3rd Floor Ballroom C. Her bestselling debut collection of short stories, "Interpreter of Maladies," won multiple awards, including the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for fiction and the New Yorker Debut of the Year award. It has been translated into twenty-nine languages. Her works include the novel "The Namesake" (2003) and most recently, "Unaccustomed Earth: Stories" (2008). A Q&A will follow.
