Violinist Sarah Chang, 28, born in Philadelphia to Korean parents, debuted with the New York Philharmonic at age 8. She's appeared with the London Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra and Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw.

She'll play the Brahms Violin Concerto with Whatcom Symphony Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Roger Briggs conducts. The program also includes Mozart's Overture to "The Marriage of Figaro" and Beethoven's Seventh Symphony.
