Bedford Genealogical Society November Meeting

The Bedford Genealogical Society's November meeting will feature the author, Connie Lapallo from near Richmond. She will be speaking on her book, Dark Enough To See the Stars in a Jamestown Sky. Papallo's 13th grandmother, Joan Phippen Peirce and her 5 year-old daughter, Jean survived the "starving time" of 1609-1610. Jean evantually married John Rolfe, (who had been married to Pocahontas) and after his death, Roger Smith. Many trace their ancestors back to this family. The meeting is free.
