Welcome to The Prime Cut. We would like to thank you for visiting our website. Established in Bakersfield since 1981, we are locally owned and operated. We are currently a "full service" gourmet meat and specialty food store. We are open 7 days a week to accommodate our customers ever changing schedules. We pride ourselves on our superb quality and customer service. We are proud to announce that in March 2007 we will be moving to create The Prime Cut Meats and Eats Restaurant and Bar. Our new facility will serve up to 140 guests inside our restaurant, bar and patio areas. We will continue to offer USDA choice beef, poultry, pork, veal, lamb and handmade sausage as well as other specialty items in our old fashioned butcher shop. We will prepare our Famous barbecued foods and add Cajun and American dishes to be enjoyed by all. We encourage you to bring your family and friends as we celebrate the love of food.
