Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse

An independent bookstore and coffeehouse located in midtown Atlanta, Outwrite opened in 1993 to serve Atlanta’s gay & lesbian community. Growing quickly to become the largest GLBT landmark in the South, Outwrite has greatly expanded our clientele, products and services to reflect the growing and diversifying Midtown community while staying true to our GLBT roots.
We feature not only GLBT literature but a wide array of great books in fiction, politics, style, entertaining, photography, and art books. We also feature a selection of the very best CD’s & DVD’s, cards and gifts.
Our coffeehouse features coffee roasted from Batdorf & Bronson Roasters as well as gourmet cupcakes, cookies, cakes, sandwiches and soups.
