The Steak Pit

Since 1960, The Steak Pit has been serving locals and guests to Aspen the best hand cut aged steaks in town. The Steak Pit has a warm and inviting decor and the only restaurant Salad Bar in Aspen. We also feature fresh fish specials daily and always have Crab and Lobster on the menu.
We offer numerous appetizers from the traditional Steamed Artichoke, Home Made Onion Rings and our Sauteed Mushroom Caps to some newer items like the Ahi Tuna Tower and Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp.
Don't forget to leave room for our World Famous Hot Fudge which is still Hand Made every batch by the owners Bob & Cindy.
Consistently good service is the norm from our friendly wait staff, some of whom have been with us over 25 years.
The Steak Pit is very family friendly with a kids menu and coloring books and crayons to entertain.
