A Benefit for Lift-Up

It's a night of riotous song and fun from some of Aspen's best-loved performers! Join the Crystal Palace Players and special guests as we celebrate the bounty of the season, while also helping out those in need. All of our performers are donating their services, and all net proceeds from this fundraising event will go to benefit Lift-Up, a local not-for-profit-that distributes food to the hungry in the Valley, including the newest food pantry located on N. Mill Street. And make sure to bring your checkbook, as before (starting at 7 pm) and during performance the Wheeler lobby will feature one of the largest silent auctions of the year, with something for everyone to give (or keep) this holiday. From original works of art to gift certificates and great stocking stuffers, this is one auction that everyone can participate in. Already secured for the Lift Up Aspen benefit are items such as flying lessons, handcrafted ceramics, theatre tickets, spa services, wines, and even a personalized phone message from Wheeler friend and host of NPR's "Wait Wait & Don't Tell Me!", Peter Sagal. All auction items will close out that evening, and all payment is required by cash or check. A great way to help out our neighbors, while having an old-fashioned Aspen welcome to winter.
Buyer beware! We have recently been alerted to ticket brokers selling tickets to events at the Wheeler Opera House. The seats they are "guaranteeing" may be in the last row of the house in obstructed seats, may have not yet been purchased, and may be offered at an extreme mark-up. Aspen Show Tickets and the Wheeler Opera House do not use second-hand sellers for our events. Please always check with the box office before purchasing from an outside vendor, as we may have seats available at the standard price.
