Historic Ashland Armory

9th Annual Rogue Valley Blues Festival takes place January 16-18, Martin Luther King Jr Holiday Weekend, with main events at the Historic Ashland Armory, Oak and B Streets. Friday evening's acoustic concert features Harry Manx, Mac Potts, and songs-in-the-round with Pete Herzog, Jerry Zybach, and Rick Di Dia and Aireene Espiritu. Saturday evening’s dance features Too Slim and the Taildraggers, The Insomniacs and Karen Lovely. Sunday evening’s under 21 band showcase and dance features the Portland Blues Juniors and Gabe Yound and Friends. There also is daytime workshops at the Historic Ashland Armory and free performances from noon- 4pm at Standing Stone, Alex’s and Hardware Café in Ashland and Avalon Bar and Grill in Talent.
