This survey of 12,000 years, long before Europeans arrived, will concentrate on fishing practices as well as evidence of both hunting and the gathering of wild plants. Lecturer Dr. Christopher Lindner, the Director of Bard College's Archaeology Field School, will introduce a new outdoor exhibit on ancient use of the Hudson River estuary. Co-sponsored by the Albany Institute of History and Art, the New York State Museum and the Archives Partnership Trust.
