Ancient Peoples along the Mohicanituk: A UAlbany Hudson 400 Event

This survey of 12,000 years, long before Europeans arrived, will concentrate on fishing practices as well as evidence of both hunting and the gathering of wild plants. Lecturer Dr. Christopher Lindner, the Director of Bard College's Archaeology Field School, will introduce a new outdoor exhibit on ancient use of the Hudson River estuary.
